COMMON QUESTIONS
What is low-tox hair color, and why does it matter?
Low-tox color skips the harshest ingredients (ammonia, PPD, resorcinol) that cause irritation and fumes, while still giving full coverage, dimension, and shine. Better for your scalp, lungs, and hair long-term.
I've been box coloring at home. Can you fix it?
Yes — one of the most common things Sarah sees. Box color deposits a lot of pigment, so correction takes a realistic plan. It's priced by the hour with an honest estimate before you book.
What's the difference between sew-in weft extensions and tape-ins or glue-ins?
Sew-ins use a tiny bead + thread (no heat, glue, or tape) — no residue, no removal damage, more secure, and reusable. Gentler and longer-lasting than adhesive methods, especially for finer hair.
How do I know which color service to book?

Do you take walk-ins?
No. Aspire is appointment-only by design. Book through Mangomint; Sarah is typically 4–6 weeks out.
Are extensions right for thin or fine hair?
Possibly — it depends on density and health. Sarah does a thorough consult and only proceeds when it's right. A gentler mesh integration option is in development for thinning/hair loss.
